楊凱

工作生活於北京、倫敦，畢業於英國創意藝術大學純藝術專業（原肯特藝術與設計學院）。

楊凱一直試圖通過找尋一種具有強烈個人色彩的風格以定義和呈現他對文化的判斷和感受。在他看來，媒介是保證形式和意義生成的關鍵所在。在國內接受了學院式傳統訓練與英國求學數年的經歷使他的媒介探索既多維發散，又能夠張弛有度。多番嘗試後，他最終選擇了水墨以訴說民族文化在當下的活法。

Yang Kai

Beijing, China

Yang Kai works and lives in Beijing and London. Majored in Fine Art of and graduated from University for the Creative Arts (UK,Kent Institute of Art & Design).

Being an artist, Yang Kai has been seeking an individualized manner to define and present his judgments and emotions toward culture. Having received western art education in the UK, Yang Kai ensures his medium exploration with diversity and flexibility while returning to his cultural roots. After many trials, he consequently chose ‘Chinese ink and wash painting’ as his voice on the current condition of the nation’s culture.
